Cardiothoracic surgical services at the SFVA include, but are not limited to, treatments like implantation of pacemakers/defibrillators, valvular repair and replacement, coronary revascularization and management of diseases of the thoracic aorta.
The Cardiothoracic surgery department also has the advantage of having the proficiency of four full time Cardiac anesthesiologists.
